Founded by the Rotary Club of Peterborough in 1921, the camp has grown into a year-round learning centre dedicated to promoting natural awareness, recreational opportunities and leadership to the surrounding community and beyond.

From September until mid June, Camp Kawartha can assist you in delivering a magical weekend retreat. We provide groups of 25 or more with exclusive use of our site and facilities, at a surprisingly affordable price.

Nestled in wooded areas, we can accommodate up to 150 people in fully winterized cabins. Each cabin is equipped with bunk beds, personal storage space, and electric heat for year-round use. Eight of our cabins can sleep 7 people, another five sleep 8-12, one sleeps 14, one sleeps 18, and we have one that sleeps 2.

We have 6 acres right on the shores of Clear Lake with over 750 feet of shoreline. We also have over 180 additional acres of forests, fields, wetlands and an extensive trail system.

Provide your guests with opportunities to experience all that Camp Kawartha has to offer. Our experienced outdoor educators can provide you with memorable, outdoor experiences you can't get in the city.

Seasonal Details...
Our facilities are available for weekend rentals year-round, with the exception of July and August (when our Summer Camp programs take place). Group rentals may also be arranged on weekdays depending on Outdoor Education bookings.
