"Pam Buckler, an artist & illustrator is no stranger to the Trent Severn Waterway, residing less than 5 minutes drive from the locks at Young's Point. Some of Pam's paintings are of local scenarios on or around Clear & Stoney (Stony) Lakes. These are done in pen & ink, that are reproduced on canvas, then each print is individually hand painted in acrylic and sold as limited edition prints. (see 4th picture). These are also available from "The Art Shop" in Lakefield."

A little more about our business...
Although offering a variety of original paintings for sale, Pam does commissioned paintings of homes & cottages. They are mostly done in a watercolour style, using acrylics. Each home is realistically portrayed , with care taken to select the best view and lighting conditions to paint the home to its best advantage. As well as painting on canvas, Pam does acrylic paintings on granite rock, that make a great gift or family heirloom. Similarly, portraits of a family member(s) or pet(s) can be painted on canvas or rock (3rd picture).
As owner/operator of "CreativeInks" Pam has done many pen & ink renditions of client buildings that have been used for advertising purposes. She has won a few logo design competitions and the Canada Post Corporation has used four of her pen & ink drawings to produce commemorative cancellation stamps for two local post offices.
Wild flowers are a favorite theme for many of Pam's original paintings done in the medium of acrylic, or coloured pencils, or a combination of both (bottom picture). Pam regularly exhibits at the Juniper Island Art Festival on Stoney Lake (August). Also in August ,this year, Pam will be exhibiting at the Buckhorn Fine Art Festival, for the first time."The Art Shop" in Lakefield displays some of her work, and "Gallery On The Lake" near Buckhorn has some of her original paintings. The "Loft Studio" at Young's Point displays local scenes and samples of Pam's rock paintings.
