Driving Directions
By car: 1/2 hour north of T.O. just off of hwy.#48 on High Street. Across from the Mansion House Restaurant and Bar! By boat: Only boats that can fit under the blue bridge and have a draft of under 3 ft.
>From Lake simcoe proceed with caution into the mouth of the Black River which can be identified by the blue bridge and which is on the south side of the lake just West of sibbald's Point and just East of Jackson's Point.River entrance is on the West side of the breakwall. Depth under the bridge is double digits and is good all the way but be careful of shallow(sandy) waters as you enter the river and shallow(boulders)water as you approach the Dam and Sutton dock. At the appropriate speed of no more than 10k/m the trip takes about 15-20 min. Trim up, go slow and enjoy the scenery. Our store is just steps from the river at the dam in Sutton.
