Driving Directions
From Highway 401:

Drive North on Hwy 45 (interchange 474 near Cobourg.) Continue 1 mile past Roseneath. Turn left at Merrill Road; at first stop sign turn left and follow the road to the sign on your right at the bottom of the last hill.

From Highway 35/115:

Drive North/South to Clarington Concession Road 9, drive East to Hwy 45. Turn Left (north) and continue 1 mile past Roseneath. Turn left at Merrill Road; at first stop sign turn left and follow the road to the sign on your right at the bottom of the last hill.

Come and enjoy our sparkling shores, the excellent fishing on Rice Lake and the relaxing accommodations in one of our clean, fully-equipped cottages.

Willowood Camp is located on the south shore of Rice Lake under large, lovely shade trees. We are across from Margaret Island which provides calm waters and protection from bad weather. Our trailer park overlooking the lake is equipped with hydro and water. Rice Lake is known for some of Ontario's finest fishing -- muskie, pickerel and bass and plenty of pan fish.

Willowood Camp is just minutes away from all that the Rice Lake tourist area has to offer. There are plenty of activities that your family will enjoy; whether it be sight-seeing, swimming, golfing, shopping in one of the many villages in the area or simply relaxing by the waterﾒs edge.

With 4.5 acres of property and 350 feet of shoreline, Willowood Camp is a relaxing vacation property. Our cottages are right on the lake so you may enjoy the beautiful sunsets over Margaret Island.

A picnic table and BBQ are included with each cottage. Pillows are supplied but please provide your own linens. Our cottages include: fridge, stove, microwave, TV, radio, dishes, pots & pans and coffee maker. Fully equipped with hot and cold running water and each cottage has a 3 pc bath.

Our store sells ice, firewood, gas, oil and worms. We do not charge for life preservers or fish freezing. We offer a free dock space with boat & motor rental.

We do not supply garbage bags, cleaning material, towels or toilet paper. Bring one-ply white only; anything else harms septic.

We wish to ensure you are satisfied with your accomodations, therefore we would ask that there is no excessive noise between 11 PM and 8 AM.

For the avid fisherman our extra large screened fish cleaning house is ready for your day's big catch!
